Research department

In our in-house laboratories, experienced chemists and application technicians conduct research and use high-quality raw materials to develop products with high productivity and the best application properties. The latest scientific findings and procedural innovations are used into our finishes and coatings for indoor and outdoor use. We develop, research and produce using all our know-how in order to protect, beautify and improve wood to be as durable and ecologically sound as possible.

SAICOS LED+X technology

Saicos LED Industrial Coatings

Together with the renowned machine manufacturer Axel Wirth, we worked on a vision and created the revolutionary SAICOS LED+X technology. It is a combination of new technologies and proven SAICOS quality.

LEDs (light emitting diodes) are already used in various branches of industry today and have proven to be an ecological and highly efficient curing system. In order to ideally use these properties for the woodworking industry, we have added that certain something to classic LED drying. With SAICOS LED + X Hardwax-Oil, coated surfaces are durable, scratch-resistant and can be packaged immediately. And that at low temperatures during production (particularly suitable for softwood), low energy consumption, long service life and, of course, it is ozone-free. As with all other SAICOS systems, our customers can also design their production lines economically and safely with the LED+X system - without making compromises.
