Cleaning is the first step in appropriate treatment of wood, because only a clean floor can optimally absorb wood paints and coatings such as care products, stains or paints. Our wood coatings in the Ecoline series are particularly well-suited for this. Because these wood coatings have a natural basis and clean floors and other wooden surfaces very gently and intensively without damaging the surface.<\/p>\n

Different floors require different wood coatings: Lacquered floors are characterised by their sealed surfaces and high resistance. They therefore do not have to be treated as often. Oiled floors, on the other hand, are more care-intensive, but also more flexible when it comes to surface design.<\/p>\n

Wood paints for painted floors<\/h4>\n

Clean painted floors regularly with SAICOS Wash Care Concentrate<\/a><\/em>. For heavily soiled areas, you can use stronger cleaning agents such as SAICOS Ecoline Magic Cleaner<\/a><\/em> to help. In order to refresh the original colour of the floor every now and then, we recommend treatment with SAICOS Ecoline Refresher<\/a>.<\/em> It ensures a hard-wearing surface with a beautiful colour finish. If you plan to renovate a floor, we recommend sealing wood coatings like SAICOS Ecoline MultiTop Lack Polish<\/em><\/a>. This extra portion of care gives lacquered wood surfaces a slight sheen.<\/p>\n

Painted wood for oiled floors<\/h4>\n

Oiled floors should be cleaned regularly with SAICOS Ecoline Wash Care Concentrate<\/a><\/em>. SAICOS Ecoline Magic Cleaner <\/a><\/em>can be used for quick and intensive cleaning of heavily used areas. For subsequent care, we recommend SAICOS Wax Care (solvent-based) or SAICOS Ecoline Care Wax<\/a><\/em> (water-based). These wood coatings contain waxes: They regenerate and protect heavily-used oiled wood and cork in indoor areas and create a water-repellent surface that can be polished if necessary. To freshen up heavily used areas, we recommend using SAICOS Professional Care Oil<\/em><\/a> or SAICOS Wash Care Oil<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

The right wood coatings<\/h4>\n

Wooden floors are trendy and create a cosy atmosphere in any home. Correct and regular renovation, cleaning and care with appropriate wood coatings ensure that the wood is particularly durable and therefore long-lasting. We offer various wood coatings and care products for your floor, such as paints and stains, which treat and protect the wood. The right care product is selected depending on the floor pretreatment.<\/p>\n

If you want to paint or stain your wooden flooring or furniture, the treatment step can be omitted depending on the type, application and material. In our product range, many wood coatings combine various functions: They protect and treat at the same time.<\/p>\n
